Founder’s Message
A Culture of Joy and Well-being: Our foundation lies in fostering a joyful and loving environment. Daily “Connect” sessions provide children with guided experiences that nurture their social, emotional, and ethical well-being. We prioritize the well-being of our teachers, offering professional and personal development opportunities and semiflexible work arrangements, allowing them time for research, creativity, planning and rest. This translates into thriving, happy educators who bring a special magic into the classroom.
Olivia holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Geography and a Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary Teaching) from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, including a study abroad programme at San Francisco State University in California, USA. She also holds a Master of International and Community Development from Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia, and is currently completing the Certificate in School Management and Leadership through the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Head of School Message
Hecky Odera is an education and human resource professional with over 20 years of experience in school leadership, education management, and human resource management. He holds an MBA in Human Resource Management and is currently undertaking the Certificate of School Leadership and Management at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education . He has worked with SHOFCO, Nairobi Waldorf School, Makini, Oshwal and Mizizi Learning Hub, leading education programs and HR functions. His areas of work include teaching, workforce planning, curriculum design, talent development, and organizational effectiveness. Outside of work, he enjoys watching and supporting Chelsea FC, cooking traditional dishes, spending time with family, and mentoring youth.

Our commitment to high-quality teaching and learning is demonstrated through substantial investments in teacher recruitment and training. We seek out the most innovative and passionate educators and continue to develop them. Mizizi emphasizes Continuous Professional Development for our educators and school leaders, including weekly training, peer-to-peer learning and regular classroom observations with feedback and coaching, fostering a culture of ongoing improvement and excellence.
